Limitation of Oxidant Production

Welcome to the official home page of the  EUROTRAC-2 subproject LOOP- Limitation of Oxidant Production.

EUROTRAC-2 is the EUREKA Project on the Transport and Chemical Transformation of Environmentally Relevant Trace Constituents in the Troposphere over Europe; Second Phase. Institutes from 24 countries participate in this closely co-ordinated inter-disciplinary scientific research project. The first eight-year phase finished at the end of 1995. The second phase, EUROTRAC-2 , started on the 1st of July 1996 and finished at the end of 2002. The objective of EUROTRAC-2 has been to support the further development of abatement strategies within Europe by providing an improved scientific basis for the quantification of source-receptor relationships for photo-oxidants and acidifying substances.
